Our cancellation and refund policy are with some very limited exceptions, existing reservations booked can be cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled arrival.

This includes Advance Purchase Rate reservations. Reservations made under the Special Event Rates are subject to the cancellation policy disclosed at the
time of reservation.

KAKAKAU The Guest House adjust cancellation policy during some high demand periods (e.g., holidays or special events).

Please note: These policies apply to reservations made through KAKAKU The Guest House directly. Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third parties are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies and for assistance.


Reservation

Please make advance reservations via telephone or book online to assure room availability. A deposit is required to obtain a confirmed reservation.

The hotel booking policy for reservations booked through Offline Reservation i.e directly from KAKAKU The Guest House requires: An initial deposit of one night’s rate for the reservation in order to secure it.

Please note the cancellation policy before committing to a reservation.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel more than 24 hours notice you pay ZERO rupees as your cancellation fee.

If you cancel within 24 hours before check-in, you will incur 1 room night charges from Guest House and a separate
cancellation service fee of Rs. 300 from online booking.

Refunds

Once you cancel offline booking, the amount will be refunded instantly on cancellation in case if it is prior 24 hours of your arrival time.

When you cancel an online booking and are entitled to a refund then we will instruct right away. The processing may take between 1-2 weeks until the whole amount shows back your credit card statement. The refund amount depends on numerous factors such as the Guest House cancellation policy, time of cancellation and processing fees.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
